“Listen to the Red Rock”, a concert for America’s Red Rock Wilderness, a national treasure in Utah, will be held at The Leonardo on March 25th, 2023. 7pm, $30 suggested donation. The wonderful musicians who are contributing their talents include Kate MacLeod, Gigi Love, Mountain Tribe with Sheni Ma, Marv Hamilton, Meander Cat, and Anke Summerhill. Artists from the album “Listen to the Red Rock” will be hosting a celebration concert and benefit to bring awareness and activism to America’s Red Rock Wilderness. The album reached the top 10 in October 2022 on the Folk DJ charts and has received national radio play. Doors open at 7pm, and the show starts at 7:30-9:30pm with a suggested $30 donation. The concert is open to all who wish to attend and can give what they feel towards the cause. All donations will be split between the artists and environmental groups supporting America’s Red Rock Wilderness Act including SUWA. The concert will also be live streamed for supports who wish to watch it online. Donations can be sent thru Venmo and Paypal. “Listen to the Red Rock” compiles a variety of folk, folk-rock, and bluegrass artist in support of the passage of ARRWA. By designating this federal land as wilderness, it will be protected and keep a viable corridor open to biodiversity and species connectivity, as well as prohibiting mining, drilling and development. In a first-of-its-kind act, the Navajo Nation has endorsed this congressional bill.

The Utah Arts Festival will be held June 23-26, 2022 at Library Square from Noon to 11pm on Thursday through Friday, Noon to 9pm Sunday. A full time staff of three work year-round to produce the Festival. In addition, we engage seasonal coordinators to help plan and implement artistic programs each year. A technical staff, stage and production crews, along with more than 1,000 volunteers rounds out the personnel needed to produce the annual event.
Sounds Of Summer is back! After a flood and Covid, the lovely East Patio at SLC Public Library Sprague Brancn will resume it's tradition of weekly outdoor concerts.
